Goal: Shape a fun, bold, user-friendly ecommerce experience for Candy Kittens that reflects the brand's vibrant personality and commitment to vegan, sustainable sweets. Role: Lead Designer, ongoing partnership. Approach: Led design across multiple growth initiatives, including an animated homepage experience, dedicated Black Friday and Cyber Monday landing pages, a festive Christmas-themed rollout for the limited-edition seasonal range, and the Gourmies product line launch, with enhanced collection navigation, personalised customer reviews and a custom checkout flow. Outcome: Delivered a consistent run of high-impact seasonal and product-launch campaigns, each crafted to align with Candy Kittens' visual identity while supporting a growth-driven Shopify strategy.

As the lead designer on the Candy Kittens project, it was essential to uphold the brand’s vibrant and playful identity while redesigning key areas of the store as part of our ongoing membership work. Our first focus was a complete rebuild of the landing page—designed to immerse users in Candy Kittens' core messaging while creating a streamlined, intuitive shopping experience. I crafted a layout that allows customers to discover and purchase products in just two clicks, ensuring both speed and convenience. To further enhance engagement, I integrated animated customer reviews and scroll-based animations, bringing energy and movement to the page while staying true to the brand’s bold and colourful aesthetic.

As the lead designer on the Candy Kittens project, I’ve worked to blend best-in-class UI design with modern development practices to deliver campaign experiences that feel truly bespoke and unrestricted by the limitations of native Shopify tools. Through this approach, we’ve supported the launch of bold, engaging initiatives—such as the ‘Candy LOVES’ series, which includes creative collaborations with BrewDog and local artists that take over the brand’s packaging and digital presence. Each campaign is crafted to feel fresh, immersive, and perfectly aligned with Candy Kittens’ fun, expressive identity.
