Rude Health

Goal: Guide Rude Health's transition from WordPress to Shopify with a vibrant, story-rich ecommerce experience reflecting their bold identity and commitment to natural, dairy-free products. Role: Lead Designer. Approach: Balanced immersive, content-led storytelling (recipes, brand values) with a clear, seamless shopping journey built to encourage exploration and conversion. Led the end-to-end design process, collaborating closely with the development team to deliver a fully bespoke Shopify theme. Outcome: Delivered a tailored Shopify experience that elevated Rude Health's online presence and strengthened its direct-to-consumer strategy.

Brand Consistent Shopify Store Design

To kick off the Rude Health project, I led an in-depth discovery phase to understand the brand’s goals, visual identity, and market position, including a thorough review of key competitors. This research informed every design decision that followed. I then created detailed wireframes to map out the customer journey and site architecture, ensuring a clear and intuitive experience from start to finish. With a mobile-first mindset, I designed for both desktop and mobile to guarantee a seamless experience across all devices. Throughout the process, I made sure Rude Health’s bold and energetic brand identity was embedded into every visual element, crafting a design that delivers a powerful, engaging, and informative experience.

Shopify development & bespoke theme development

After completing the design phase, I worked closely with our expert Shopify developers to bring the Rude Health store to life through a fully bespoke, pixel-perfect Shopify theme that reflected the original design vision without compromise. The build was engineered to harness the full power of Shopify’s native capabilities, including robust SEO features, the theme editor for flexible content management, and blogging functionality to support rich, engaging storytelling. Once development was complete, we focused on performance optimization and supported the launch strategy to ensure a smooth and successful go-live that positioned Rude Health for sustained ecommerce growth.
